“Nikos Chatzitsakos Tiny Big Band!” is a project of the double bassist, arranger and composer Nikos Chatzitsakos, based in Boston, USA. Nikos connects the tradition of jazz music and its repertoire with post-bop, modern aesthetics and harmonic soundscapes. Considering the cover design, modern and classical elements are combined through geometrical shapes and textures within a portait illustration of the band that is the basis for a classical though playful essence. The title's design combines similar values through grotesk and retro elements, the underlined TINY and the exclamation mark!
